In the mountains, my husband and I would often see them on our way to Jasper. Although it was common to see them, there was nothing common about them.
They reminded me that no matter how hard their life was, they were always sure footed and stood on steady ground, no matter how tough the terrain was.
This piece is about that feeling.
The quiet confidence of knowing and standing firm in who you are.
The kind of strength that is built simply by showing up and staying steady.
For the one who carries a lot but does not complain and wants
a daily reminder that steady is powerful.
