MEET THE ARTIST
Hi, I’m Patti.
I’ve always been the kind of person who stops for the little things.
An animal’s eyes. A deer on a walk, still a small wonder even though I’ve seen them a hundred times. A weathered tree, or a glimpse of mountains that makes me wish I could stay a little longer.
I paint wildlife, nature and pets in acrylic and mixed media. Usually, something catches my attention and painting gives me a chance to spend more time with it. Sometimes there’s a story behind it. Sometimes it simply made me feel calm and at peace.
That’s what I love about noticing. The little things can make us smile, wonder, or bring up a feeling we want to have a bit longer.
I don’t know exactly what you’ll notice when you look at my paintings, and I love that. We all see something different. I’d love to know what catches your eye.ORIGINAL WILDLIFE ARTWORK
If you’ve ever stopped what you were doing to watch a bird outside the window, you probably understand why I paint animals.
I love being able to look up from an ordinary day and see a little of the world I love.
Maybe you’ll find an animal here that reminds you of somewhere you’ve been, or simply a face you’d be happy to see every day.

PET & ANIMAL PORTRAITS
Some animals leave paw prints on more than just our homes,
they’re on our hearts.
You know that look. The tilted head, the expression in their eyes that says how much they love you and their little antics you’ve come to love.
Those are the stories I love hearing about when I paint someone’s pet. Along with your photos, they help me get to know the personality you know so well.
If it’s a wild animal you’ve always loved, I’d love to hear about that too.
